TheFreak LEVEL +50 - WELL-LIKED
lately i been growing off of coir/verm

i been doing 4 65qt tubs with 1 brick coir, 4 qts of verm and they are 3 inches thick. seems like should be getting more the 10 ounces off of 4 tubs.

i cant upload any pictures because i dont like the camera, but any how. i been doing a brf slurry to 3 cases of wide mouth pint jars. i let the fully colonize, and then prepair my substraight. it normally fully colonizes in 7 to 10 days. as i only put 4 to 5 pints of colonized wbs each tub.

once the tub is fully colonized i interduce it to light and start fanning to start the pinning. i dont use a casing layer because im not positive it will help any since my sub is kinda considered 1 hugh casing.

any suggestions as to what i can do to make this better?

the strain ive been working with is b+

your yield doesnt seem too bad at 10 oz. i have been using coir for quite some time now. yet there could be a few things you could do to improve you flushes. is this a mulitispore grow? if so maybe go with cloning.

also......

coir by itself isnt that nutritious. thus adding some worm casting, hpoo, or some thing of the like will give the substrate more "food".

i would also use a bit more spawn, i use 3 qts. wbs per brick of coir.

as far as your substrate depth, 3 in isnt deep at all. id double that to 6 in.

these are just some ideas.

heres a 100% coir grow i did not to long ago for comparison;
