![]() | Jars too humid? Or safe to PC?
I followed the Lazlo WBS tek. Some of my jars seem humid, others seem fine. I put some Verm at bottom of all the jars, will they be ok to PC? One that's not too humid (I think) and one that seems too humid (I think) ![]() Well I couldn't wait. Had to throw them in before wife go in kitchen for dinner. Also didn't wait a Full 24hr for RTV to cure, but it's been at least 20-22 hours. Seems the PC doesn't like getting up to 15psi when there's jars in it. It's at about 14psi now, wife said she saw it at 15, figured I'd just leave it for 90 mins or so (if water doesn't evaporate by then) then turn off stove and hope for the best. Figured since people PC at 10 psi it wouldn't/couldn't hurt. Well I'd delete this thread if I could since I already threw them in the PC. But I can't figure out how to delete post. P.S. Freaking smoke is soooo dry around here it sucks ass. |

Not too bad I guess. Thank you for asking. I ran outta water in the PC, but guess they're ok. Some seemed to have a bit more moisture in them then others still when I was done. Seeds stuck together, but gave them a good shake. After I shook them the moisture was more noticeable in the jars and some of the seeds were sticking to the sides. Hoping that verm I put in there sucks some of the moisture up. I have them inoculated now and sitting in a tub on my armoir. Maybe I'm just more worried then I should be about them, but being my first time and seeing/reading how easy it could to mess something up it; I guess that comes with the territory whether you're new or not. |

Distributing that moisture through out those kernels it the most important if they are overly wet. Only way to do that is to shake a few times and it sounds like you did that., If they were too wet...well chalk that up like the rest of us has done. We have all had to dump some rotting, stinking, too damn wet jars..lol
