Heat for jars

Ok, have a question for building a container for for BRF jars and grain bags. I would like to set the Jars and bags in a container ontop of water with a heater what should I put in the water so no mold grows?

Im not sure if it's necessary but I add a cap or two of bleach to my water in my Tub in Tub incubator just for good measure. It isn't trapped in an airtight situation though and actually evaporates somewhat quickly so I think there is a very small chance of molds growing in it.

Salt works very effectively and doesn't evaporate (bleach will evaporate).

Use about 2-3 tablespoons per gallon of water.

I've never heard of that one before. I just set up a double tub incubator a few minutes ago and I am going to try this out! Makes perfect sense too! Thanks
