![]() | B+ question, slow growth
i made LC's of a few different strains, the equador was the quickest, and B+ was very slow. when i innoculated rye jars with the LC juice, the B+ jars again colonized very slow... is this common with B+, or did i get a slow substrain when i made the LC's?

In my experience, the B+ is normally faster than average. Actually, one of the faster strains I have grown.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | How is the moisture content as you stated the LC juice? Because B+ is a very fast producer. and as frequency stated the temps as which you are incubating?

My B+ from MS was actually a little above what I would describe as average. My B+ LC killed it way better than spore innoculation did. I think you might just be dealing with genetics. I made 3 or 4 LCs out of my last B+ and they were all pretty agressive.

incubation temps are about 25-27 degrees celcius. moisture content is fine. i have many other strains on the go and i use the same method for all of them, but the B+ is significantly slower. must just be the substrain that ended up in my lc.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You're probably right. You could incubate 5 degrees higher and that might help a bit. Most likely you've just got some slow genes in your strain. Any chance of culturing it on a plate and isolating some vigorous myc?
