Desiccator Jar

would this cheap lil Desiccator jars work for doing small amounts of mushrooms at a time.
or maybe the dry ice route there is a dry ice maker some were on this site to. anyways would either one of these be good for drying.
thanks

I'm guessing the jar shown needs some re-usable crystals in the bottom?

looks like you could easily fit one flush from three cakes and some crystals in that jar.

Pretty slick little gizmo.

Just guessing but maybe the partial vacuum
would speed drying and help preserve potency.

Still gonna need some desiccant to absorb
moisture and probably want a cover or
something to wrap container with to
exclude light.

If you get one of these to try out, let us know
how it works for you.

Cheers

I can buy dry ice for $8 for a 4 pound block. I don't have any idea how many shrooms one could dry with this but if it's just small amounts, over and over, it seems the vacuum jar with dessicant crystals would be the smarter money play.

unless you just love playing with dry ice.

this being the Halloween season I can think of some good uses. How cool would it be to have a boiling cauldron of dry ice fog on your front porch for the kiddies to see?

I think the fastest way to dry shrooms is with a food dehydrator at the lowest setting--if speed is your main concern.

just looking for a diffrent maybe better way of drying. im thinkin the dry ice or co2 it seems faster and easy to throw some in a jar and zap em dry then seal em in your bag or what ever you want to store them in.
