Transplanting fruiting myc outdoors?

Last season swim found a ton a cyanescens in a park. This season, how would he go about transplanting mycelium from one location to another?

with a shovel, cardboard box, or bag

Make sure to keep them in large chunks, break it up as little as possible. It recovers quickly this way and will start colonizing new chips soon.

sweet. Any tips on stealth? They are in a public park, out in the open. Maybe use a trowel instead of shovel. It's near a dog park so I can probably use dog shit bags, bring my dog, and make it look like I'm shoveling dog shit.

Many stealthy activities take place under the cover of darkness.

Being out in darkness in public places often attracts LEO attention. I say go during the slowest time of the day for the pooper park and just be quick about it. Make your dog actually shit reasonably close to where you want to pick up the chunks of myc.

Wear green pants and shirt with matching ball cap. Carry rakes and shovels in a wheelbarrow to the patch and use the wheelbarrow to carry away your haul. Rake and fuss around a bit, replace your divots and act like you are just doing your job.

I go with the doggy bag idea.
Less chance for detection - nobody is going to be looking over your shoulder while you pick up dog poo

Way to capitalize on social grace!

Ditto what was said earlier
Break up the spawn as little as possible
You want large, intact chunks if you can get 'em.

Take a back-pack or shopping bag so you can snag a couple of 'stool samples' LOL
