Well that kinda depends on your levels what are your strain your substrate and your temps? are you fanning regularly if so how often? A week isnt ness. too long to not be showing signs not in my experience anyways. Have you seen any myc growth on your cakes at all (hyphal knotting or prymordia?)

Are you getting any knots yet? How are you providing FAE? What's your humidity like? What kind of FC are you using? Like was said above, a week isn't necessarily too long.

did you wait at least for a week or so after the outsides of the jars were fully colonized to make sure the whole cake was 100% colonized?

In my experience, I rarely see any pinning until around three to four weeks past the inoculation date. If cakes colonize quickly, they can take some extra time to start fruiting. You want total humidity, 3 to 4 FAES a day, temps in the 70s, and some sort of light--just keep those conditions intact, and you will have success. If you don't see pins after a month or so, you should probably dunk the cakes for at least 12 hours and then return to fruiting conditions. |

double end case make a small aluminum 'tray' for the cake, put some verm in it place cake on top of that, then put verm on top of cake My friend always uses 'moist verm for this Kick back relax.... You sound like you are on the road to success !
