Hey all, SWIM has his first fruits growing, and much thanks is due to everyone here who has helped. ![]() The strain is B+ and the cake is being fruited in a (Quart?) jar. Is the larger fruit on the right an albino? Or is this just normal B+ color? If so, should he clone? Thanks |

It looks a little bit light, but as caps mature they will often get lighter. I would not call that an albino, but it is kewl looking. Personally I would wait until you have a nice cluster of fruits and take some cloning tissue from one of those fruits. That is entirely up to you, though. Thanks for sharing the picture. |

Yea, it does look alot like a mature PE ! Thats crazy. Same color and cap could pass as PE. That contrast between chestnut brown and tan makes it really stand out ! Cool !

not albino.. but it is leucistic http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leucism certainly clone it if you can. i've seen some pretty cool stuff happen when cloning these specimens. check this one out http://forums.mycotopia.net/strainba...oob-clone.html (White Golden Teacher ' boob ' clone)

The cap did open a little more, but it hasn't been checked on for hours. Will update on the cap if it opens anymore. These came from a B+ print that I traded for. He shall try to clone it. Which part would be best to clone from? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | update, more pics
So, here's a couple pics from about 6 hours after the last one was taken. The Gills appear to be white, I don't know if this is normal for B+ or not though. Should I even try to get a print? One thing that puzzles me is that the 3 fruits there are different shades.

That is a possibility. they are in an upside down jar with only 4 nail-sized holes in the lid. And without thinking much about it SWIM put this 1/2 pint cake in a jar with a small mouth. Can't wait to see how cloning goes...

If you put a spacer on the cake to keep it from blocking the holes in the lid, you shouldn't have air exchange issues--as in the original chronic tek. I look forward to your cloning results, which could be exciting. |

Sorry it took me so long to get back. The cloning did not go well, probably because I rushed myself and didnt do it properly. But, the good news is the fruits from SWIM's grow seemed to be pretty potent ![]() Just thought I'd give this thread some closure. |
