So I was just at wally-world and picked up a budgelite car cover. I'm pretty sure it's made out of tyvek, so i'll be trying it out for some filtered lids. I believe it ran me about 30 bucks, and seems like a lifetime supply for me. Quote:

that's plastic [polypropylene], not tyvek. a waste of money, www.intothewind.com sells better for less and you get more. |

thanks, I haven't cut it up yet, and made sure to get one that would fit my car so not too big of a waste ![]() edit: actually i think i'm still going to test it on a jar or two, after reading a little more about polypropylene filter cloth, seems like it should be autoclave-able, and the pore size should be small enough to warrant at least a few test runs.
