Sterilized Water, bought 'off the shelf' ?

I have a half pint jar with a print in it. The lid has 2 silicone ports on it. I want to make spore syringes, can I buy distilled water 'off the shelf', use a syringe and take water from the bottle to use for making spore water? I do not want to fire up the PC for just water.

Yes you can use it. I also have used small bottles of water. Just wipe the bottle off with alky and insert the syringe thru the plastic. I have not had any issues with doing this. I agree that using the PC for water by its self is a pain and waste of time.

I've used real cheap bottled water in very thin/flexible bottles.

I put a blob of RTV silicone on to make an injection port. You don't want dirty room air getting sucked into the clean bottle when you extract the water.

Well, your welcome, but I prefer Lucifer or His Infernal Majesty.

Just use a big blob and a cheap bottle. It will slowly collapse as you remove the water and no nasties will get in.
