how long will alcohol extraction keep

I was supposed to be going out with friends and taking some mushies extracted into everclear. We got rained out and need to reschedule.

I'm wondering how long the alcohol extraction will remain active in the freezer. Days, weeks?

Years.

My longest storage has been three years, actually, and it was as good the day I ingested
the last sip as it was the day I extracted it...

What do you think is your extraction rate? I figure 60% I know others claim that they get 80+ but I use 5g per person and that seems like a nice pleasant ride. If I gave peeps 5g raw I'd blow there minds.

I use a combination of powdered shrooms in a cold extraction followed by a 20 boil and simmer.

I'd GUESS at about 75%, but that's extremely subjective... If I do a gram for
gram dose of extract, I still have a pretty good "beginner" ride (I like to start
with just a gram)... over the course of the evening, I may ingest 5-7 grams
total, but rarely in more than 2-3 g (equivalent) doses.

I'm personally convinced that heat really nukes your extracts, at least
with ethanol. Regular water tea works OK, but I can certainly tell a potency
loss with that. Cold extraction, as long as you don't get in a rush, seems
to work just fine for us.
