Another bulk ???

Could I use the pftek as a bulk sub? And maybe add some coir to it? I need something to work with? I can't afford to get the sub from hippie to expensive to ship and I have nothin in the town I live in well not till spring

You can use PF cakes to spawn to hydrated coir but as far as using PF mix as the bulk sub it would contaminate super fast. Try to find a horse pasture local to you if you can and get some good old dried dung. Use colonized PF jars to spawn to the poo or coir and you will be golden. Good luck mate.

Right, pf mix is too sweet and nutritious. Contamination would over come the sub. Just use the coir if you got nothing else.

Coir - petstore
Cow Dung - Lowe's
Mini Hay Bale - Micheals

mix ratio Coir: Poo: Straw/Hay: Spawn 2: 0.5: 0.5: 1

Throw the hay or straw in a blender to chop up to small pieces
Throw the cow poo in micowave to sterilize then into blender to chop chunks
Mix Coir Poo and Hay/Straw and place in oven at 160 for 2hrs
Let cool
mix in spawn evenly
cover container place in dark let bulk sub colonize fully
then off to the FC
should see pins within a week or so after going into FC

Coir works quite well. PF cakes are wonderful spawn, too.

H-poo is pretty damn easy to find, though: racetracks, horse trails, anyone who owns horses (these folks regularly give dung away, as many gardeners and landscapers seek it out).

I livein northern canada and I honestly have looked everywhere there one ranch in town that I am gonna go visit seeif I can get some hpoo but as far as everything else icannot find trust me I have look pol have told me just to use coir as sub but the lack of nutes makes me wonder what kinda oh wieght I will get I know it's gonna be tiny but what can u do when life gives u lemons northern Canada sux in winter all I can find is ice melt LOL
As for hay all I can find is timothy hay and I have been told to stay away

No, he means that using coir gives one a rez-effect grow, which would be the coir as a water reservoir (rez, as in reservoir). It works quite well. Coir is semi-nutritious, and you can get several nice flushes. Some sort of dung (from a grass-eating/grazing/cud-chewing animal) is better because it contains more nutrients, but I have used coir alone, and it is suprisingly effective.

The image of someone going around with a bag, picking up all the random deer and rabbit poo they can grab is really funny to me. I have geese who poo all over the businesses down the road from me - maybe I should make a goose poop tek!

If you can collect enough deer poo Id say try it, it might work just fine. It would take a while to get enough of it to do a good sized bulk though unless you have a lot of deer hanging out in the same area consistently.

I will do whTever I have to soto get some shit for those mushies, as far as finding mass amounts may be hardto find but there are alot of deer so we will see. I am gonna go try and get some hay and hpoo from the one ranch in town and see I can get stuff threw them anyways gotta get bad to work ttyl boys
