Just fine. I've had it before. AFAIK, any coir that you get at a pet store should be just fine.

Croc hunter on zoo-tube used both Eco-earth and Eco-terra, both are working fine for his new roo's review. the crazy Kanga also used eco-terra loose reptile bedding that had 1/2 inch square chunks of coco coir in it. The chunks that they missed during hydration all sprouted nice fruits like their pop corn did, go figure. All were pastureized prior to use. Coir is all they case with now... Go Phillies! _j0se~

If you are using a lot of coir, 10 and 15 pound bales can be acquired for less than $20 on eBay and at most hydroponic/grow stores.

I have been ordering from Dr's Foster and Smith website. Recently they had a 3-pack on sale for 4.49...regular price is 5.99. And, they just instituted a 5.99 flat rate shipping policy. They are fast too. http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...94&pcatid=6494 |
