![]() ![]() ![]() | Last grow for a while, Orissa India
This will be my last grow for some time. I'm going to travel for just over half a year so obviously I wont be able to grow. It is two trays with hpoo compost and coir 40/60 and a bag with almost only coir. So this is what it looks like now. ![]() ![]() ![]() They trays are nice and rhizomorphic but the bag isn't for some reason. Wish me luck with this grow! The spawn I used is G2G from a single MS jar so the genetics should be the same in both the trays and the bag. |

Good luck, man. You might need some more polyfill-stuffed holes in that bag. I don't even incubate it if it's just coir, which is more of a rez-effect than bulk--although coir has some nutrients in it. It al looks healthy, though, and that is the most important thing! |

Personally, I would just let it go as is. I find that when I screw around with something too much, it usually backfires on me. It should do fine with just the coir. I get three or four flushes from mixing popcorn to coir at a 1:2 ratio. It is basically a rez-effect grow. I just thought you were doing the big invitro fruiting bag from your picture. You can go ahead and put it in fruiting conditions. Good luck, Pihop. Good vibes for many, many shrooms. |

They have come along nicely! Got a patch of trich in one of the trays so I had to cut away a big chunk but it seemed to help. This strain was a lot slower than the Z-strain! Hoping for some nice fruits ![]() I've got 1 pin in the bag and 1 pin in one of the trays. ![]() ![]() |

This is what it looked like a few days ago. ![]() And this is what it looked like today ( I plucked 3 shrooms for printing before taking the picture) ![]() It seems the shrooms grow tall and with very small caps for some reason. Any ideas as to why? |

Yes they look very nice. Congratulations! It looks like humidity is a bit high (the heavy fur on the stems). I love the two small boobs in the last picture, upper tray lower right corner.

![]() I harvested today and most had really hollow stems as well ![]() I got a total of 140g wet from the first flush. The trays are dunking. I didn't want to dunk the bag since it had some nice ones growing out of it that wasn't ready to harvest.. I injected 40ml of water directly in to the middle of it. It sucked it up like a sponge, will dunk it first thing Monday when I get back from a short trip. For the 2nd flush I've raised the trays from the bottom of the tub to hopefully get a bit lower humidity. What I'm also curious about is why the caps are so damn pale! The pics I've seen of orissa has shown nice brown caps, not pale almost whitish caps. Could this be because of a too dry sub? I didn't dunk the trays or the bag before the first flush, could this be it? | |
