Keeping jars warm

My popcorn jars are in a cardboard box with a blanket inside wrapping the jars and a blanket wrapping the box but I think the temp inside the box is around 65 F.

Could I get a small storage bin, place the jars in there fill with water near the top of the jars and use an aquarium heater?

Would a TiT be better with the aquarium heater?

Any other easy cheap suggestions?

Is my myc dead? (It's only been 5 days since inoculating so I know I need to wait but haven't seen any myc yet.)

Thanks.

I'm new to growing but I can tell you from my experience with my first grow that a TiT worked fantastic for me. It kept the jars at a level 83 degrees F for weeks.

TIT works well. Or use an aquarium heater in a jar of water in a insulated container. TIT is more efficient though.

TiT will work great. Put some bleach in the water to prevent algae buildup (or salt).

For now take that box and blanket and put it on top of your fridge. According to buckaroo the heat from the compressor will keep it nice and warm.

i kinda like the fishtank heater in a small jar(1qt) and silicone it water tight. with a lil 1.2inch by1.2 inch fan siliconed to the top of the jar for even heat distrubution. i just kinda find it easyer and better for controlling temps in my IC. o and add a lilttle salt to the water.

I like a reptile lamp, but you gotta keep it a little further away, and keep the jars covered. I guess its not "energy efficient", but running a small heat lamp is much cheaper than running an a/c, according to my energy bills.

i think a fishtank heater would be much better for this type of situation than a heat lamp or a heat pad or a heat rock anything like that. you need even heat distribution throught your whole set up.

TIT with aquarium heat for me. Works very consistently, doesn't affect my electricity bill to any real nociteable affect, and is also somewhat stealthy as long as the cord is hidden. I believe it is also an easier set up to keep safe.

I got the heater and a couple of tubs this morning and went with TiT. The tub holding the water doesnt have a lid clamp so I have to tie the lid down.

Why can't the jars sit directly in the water? Easier to contaminate?
