What edibles grow in similar environments to cubes?

Whats going on guys and gals?

I have stopped growing cubes for a while now but I have the itch to start growing something edible that doesnt make me lift-off. So what grows like cubes? I have close access to all the composted horse poo I want and I like doing monotubs. Oysters like I see eats doing, button, portabella?

I am working on ( and failing) doing some Agaricus Bitorquis. I know it is just a matter of me "getting" what this strain wants... That is available from Sporeworks...

Oysters, shaggy mane, im sure white button (casing layer needed).

Thanks guys, I have been doing some daily reading up on these. Working on getting some oyster and button cultures to work on.
