Stacking BRF's - Pro or Con?

I'm considering stacking my BRF cakes in the fruiting chamber to gain more cakes for the limited space involved. Is this a good idea? Will this produce more in term of yield or size? I've noticed that cakes that are touching will fuse together. Will this complement or detract from my goal of more,more more?
Any input is most welcome!

Dont really think you will get more fruit per cake necessarily, but you will get more fruit per tub simply by saving space. Your rH will stay up easier too. Its a good idea.

There's a pretty new member here (last 4 months i think) that had a big tub full of stacked cakes not long ago. It was impressive looking and he got a decent flush. The real drawback is having to find a way to secure the cakes in the stacks... maybe insert some clean wooden dowels? Also it will be PITA when it comes time to dunk if they've fused together. Totally doable though. Good luck!

Almost every brf run ive done ive stacked cakes.
Never really noticed a dif in overall yield either.
Just gotta make sure to fan more as more cakes=more fae needed

Edit: On what Bev said Ive used toothpicks to hold cakes 2gether.
Just wipe them good with iso and stick them 2gether.

I was thinking about a base of 4 cakes with 3 cakes on the second level and possible one on a third level. Almost like a mini pyramid.

On second thought, scratch the third level, it would be too close to the lid of the tub.

Yeah you def dont wanna go to high.
There gonna need all the room they can get with being more cakes.
I like to have a space from top of cake to lid at least 6"

Thanks! That's wonderful advice. I'm looking forward to my Mazatepec two-level mini pyramid. Like having Teotihuacan in a tub!

SWIM uses wide mouth half pints so they are stockier and not as wobbly. he just stacks one on the other, only 2 high.
remember, LOTS of fae
