I guess it depends on how confident you are in their sterility. If you know for a fact they are still sterile,(you have a flow hood or great filter allowing gas exchange but no contams) then some would say you could still use them. I probably wouldn't just to be sure, but some have with success. Sometimes those first couple days are really important in giving the mycelium a head start in the not so perfect world of home hobbyists. Better safe then sorry. I would rather spend an extra 90 mins PCing than find out in a week that my project failed and have to wait even longer. Hope i could help a lil'.

i did a grain to grain transfer with 2 strains of agaricus and blazeii mushrooms. The button and portabella grew...the blazeii nothing. I'm thinking of throwing some other grain and trying to grow something else in to. Mine have been sitting there since 10-24 with no growth of any kind at all....i also pced it for 1 full hour @ 15psi.
