nice. pay close attention to the straw thats not colonized. you may have to pull it out if it contams.also get a tiny bobby pin and poke about 50 holes all over the saran wrap or press n seal your using.

if you have not tried press n seal. you may want to give it a go next round. it sticks to plastic and to itself. perfect where you don't need the tape down the middle. if that is press n seal. stretch it a bit over the edge of the bin and it will catch to the side of the bin.

I was thinking about doing another 14 gallon tub identical to this one with shroomgod's straw tek. real dense bed of quickly colonizing straw and 1 pint popcorn. the other three mixed in with about 4 lbs of hpoo only.

Should I put the tub back into darkness with more FAE because of the uncolonised straw for the next flush?

no. just cut out those uncolonized pieces. wipe the scissors with alc. you can do a dunk and then pour out the water and rebirth it.

looks better now. i only see a few sticking out near the edges.

otherwise all the straw in the middle looks 100 percent!
