Interrupted light cycle has nothing to do with it. Just be patient and it will happen.

If you have so many different strains in the tub, make sure they are not touching one another or there might be some competition going on at the contact zones. That could slow them down a bit. Cakes of the same strain touching is fine. I think the culprit is humidity though, cakes like 100%. How many times a day do you fan and mist? Or are you using some kind of humidifier setup?

Yep, Bev is dead on. Pump up the humidity for cakes--they prefer 100% if you can achieve that.

for the impatient people. Next time you do cake you can try and cold shock them to induce fruiting. I'm sure you can find a tek on the site. I havn't tried it myself, but i heard of people doing it.

Cold shock

Cold shocking is ineffective on Cubensis.

Cold shocking doesn't do anything for pinning on cubes in my experience. Just keep waiting and they will come. Should be any day now.

I believe that some new growers might get confused between dunking in a refrigerator, which just helps keep contams at bay due to the low temps, and cold shocking, which is simply not beneficial to cubensis--a species that originated in very warm climates.
