Are my mushrooms safe?

First time that I had experienced any kind of possible contaminates and I was wondering in the mushrooms are still good?

I tried uploading my photos but it keeps giving me a error.

There is a blueish growth on the cake but the fruits look perfectly fine.

Still good to eat? I don't want to go to the hospital.

Sorry pictures before where too big.

Both cakes had it but I just took 1 picture of what they both had.
The picture with the grow on it had fruits that I had picked off before taking the picture.

lol WOW that is some paranoia if I ever saw any.

The bluing response is known as bruising and is VERY common with active mushrooms. Any kind of stress/physical trauma will cause this with actives. Don't worry about it unless it is some crazy color like green or pink or red, etc.

Those are safe to eat and look dank as hell! You are overreacting.

Thanks. I just never seen this before. I have got very lucky with not getting contams. You should have saw a monster shroom I have off another cake before I picked it.

Time for a tea party!

Don't feel lonely either. My first time with cakes, I actually tossed 6 out of 12 amazonian cakes because they were bluing and I thought they might be trich (green mold/trichiderma/common bread mold). Turns out I was full of shit and literally tossed half of my crop.

Don't do the same.

Let me quote...

If its blue its true! (don't use that motto while hunting wild mushies though, many poisonous species will also bruise like that.)

Enjoy your shrooms. You can always test a suspect spot with a little water or a moist paper towel. If the color bleeds, it is mold.

Here is a update of the dunk. There is about 2 spots that are really dark blue.
