Potential Prob with substrate - Please help

    Hi All,

I am having my first run of poo/sub and am using dubtubs.

I made 4-1/2"-5" depth of my mix (past. poo and brf cakes broken up and mixed in) in a the tub, covered and incubated for the last 6 days. The Surface was completely colanized 2 days ago and thought I'd give it 2 more days then case and add my top tubs and off to fruiting.

I just went to case them, and I now have white light fuzzy, like cotton all around the parameter of my colonized substrate. I also noticed, although I had a lot of wholes in my seran wrap that covered the tub while incubating, it was very moist inside.

Can I still case these? will they be alright? Should I cut this portion out?

Gosh Im worried. Sorry still no cam for pics

    Thanks!

    IM420

Without pics it's nearly impossible to say for sure. It could be cobweb in which case you will need to take some kind of corrective action or it could be whispy cub mycelium. In that case you are golden.

    Hi Dial8

Thanks for the pics and response. No it doesn't look like that at all. It's more dense adn not covering everything, only an outer paremeter where more of the moisture condensed.

So I'm guessing I'm golden? Which is probably a good thing? hehe

    Thanks Dial8
