Almost everytime I log out I come back later and it says Im logged in. Whats up?

So the only purpose of the log out is to clear cookies?
So does this mean that Im in a constant state of being logged in?
So when other people see who is logged in at the home page does this mean my name is always there?

no...logging out has nothing to do with clearing your cookies

no it shouldnt......it should log you in when you open the site....if you dont wish to be logged in automatically everytime you open the site, then when you leave you will have to clear your cookies through internet options.
