UFO Video, True or Hoax! You decide.

I saw this video a few years ago on my local news station and i thought I would share it with everyone to get your opinions of it. Please disregard the editors note, for he has no ground to go on with his claim. Well as far as i know. Apparently till this day she still stands by her word that it is real. Check it out and post your comments and opinions. When the page pops up, simply hit cancel and scroll down to the links of your media player of choice. Have fun. It's a neat video, hoax or not.

hmm i dunno what to think, you can do so much with comp animation anymore. and im not too sure about that trail that it leaves.

i do believe in ufos, but its just a lil too convenient for me to stomach.

Her statement, "It's over there." seemed a lil too relaxed and staged to me. If i saw some UFO looking thing fly across the sky I'd be like whoa wtf is that. And did you notice how the camera conviently zoomed out right before it flew right at the helicopter, and how quickly he was able to follow it up skyward...It made me flinch and I was just watching a lil windowed movie of it. I think if it was real, they would all be screaming for dear life.

I think when she says "what is that", that's not to far feached. She simply doesn't know what it is. The thing that gets me is there isn't any further footage of there reactions after the UFO swoops at them.

the clip is very effective
but if it were real
and the people who filmed it were certain of it's authenticity
then surely it would have been everywhere by now
as it shows what is, in essence, an extremely close encounter.
of course, the conjecture i have read is that it is simply a promotional plug
made specifically for the sci-fi channel
which the sci-fi channel itself chooses not to refute.
personally, i think it's a nicely digitized set-up.
but the actress for me is, well.....acting.

yet her tone remains exactly the same as before it made this extraordinarily rapid movement.
not convincing.
also, her question as to whether the twin towers were the twin towers
strikes me as a little odd considering their iconic status.
and besides, the 'copters gradual approach would have allowed her plenty of time to view them from a distance
and ask the question long before they got so close.
finally, the crafts vapour trails are just too obvious a visual device.
i say hoax.

Where's Rodger? He'll debunk this - I've got to believe the "jetwash" (yeah, that's right, I watched Top Gun the other night, in fact) from the UFO would do more to that helicopter than it did. What's that, like, air displacement or something like that? I wish I could fly; if I did I'd go get me one of them thar UFO thingermagiggers.

Indeed it's a nice film. I've studied many different resources for years trying to find out some kind of fact. It is rather strange that the hype on the video died so quickly. I can't seem to find any concrete evidence of whether the video is authentic or not. Altough many critics have said the video was true. But something rather strange about the woman that sent the video in is, she in fact is from NY city. It seems a little far fetched that she would ask if those were the Twin Towers. Come on! She should no damn right well if they were indeed the Twin Towers. I just thought that everyone would get a kick out of it! I think it's a great piece of film, fact or fiction. Pretty amusing. Shredder i'm not saying the film is true, i'm just giving you an oppurtunity to check it out for yourself and give your opinion of it. Let's here more opinions.

Hmmmmmmm. Did you read the first post? The editor's note is bogus. After it was found out that she was a professional actress these rumors were started about the authenticity of the film. This was part of the piece our news station investigated. I wish i could show you the I-Team investigation, pretty cool. Don't gorget!!! I'm not saying it's real.

no grounds? i thought that barbara admitted she was an actress and was hired to be in this? Did the editor just make this up?

Her name is Barbara Sicuruanza. This was part of the investigation done by our news station. These allegations had been in the wide open before news stations all over the U.S. had posted the video. These allegations were part of news stations investigations.
