![]() | So heres the thing; I'll be trekking through South America next year and have been (hesitantly) vaccinated against yellow fever and tetanus. The head scratcher is that I've been booked for a blood test in a week to check if I'm antibodied against Hep A and Hep B. Now is there anybody here who can tell me if its REALLY necessary to get these vaks? I'm a third worlder myself-know what to touch and whatnot, and think I'll be preparing most of my own food. Hep A is supposed to be very prevalent down there and thats the one I'm worried about, but the thought of my bloodpersona going online doesn't lend to it outweighing the equasion... So should I be worrying so much, or can I call it off? Cheers

![]() | dont worry man get those vaccs we are never safe enough . you dont wanna regret . anyways this is for your health and not related to the DEA or police center ... if they woud find anything they can't get you in jail for the presence of something in your blood heh. and the tests they are doing are aimed at what they want to find... they dont load up a machine with a test tube loaded with your blood and then the machine prints the entire lists of what can be found... just like Dr_T said they have a test for each substance and they turn out to say positive or not thats all dont worry
