    Hi, I am thrilled to have stumbled upon this site. With some of my hobbies, it's not like i want to talk to any of my local friends about them. Nor do I think they would understand what i was talking about. It's nice to know that I am not alone in my interest in growing shrooms. i have many questions as well as my opinions and experiences to share.
    To start w/.... I live in In one of the three places where no one will ship spores. After a year of not being able to get my hands on anything. i finally came across some cubes on the street. being desperate, I took a chance and got them. Everything Ive ever heard was that you can't get viable spores from old dried shrooms. Well I decided to try it anyways. Alot of contam but i got several to germ. Does anyone have any input on this TEK or any ideas where one in my situation might get some new strain and species?

    Drieds from the street. soaked them in water for an hour, scraped the gills and inoced on MEA
