Thumbs up Hippie's going to be a Daddy: Help pick a name ?

    yes, you heard me.
wife tested at planned parenthood yesterday
    ~5 weeks along, due sept 25 .
we've been kicking around some names,
gender as of yet undetermined of course.
any good ideas for either gender ?
nothing crazy, kid's gotta live with it, spell it.

I've always liked Chloe for a girl. Pronounced klo-eee

That is odd, it is usually the wife that wants the daughter and the father that wants the son. Now you are going to have to worry about who she is dating and who is trying to get in her pants.

Also, girls cost a lot more, girls are louder.

As for names, Jessica is always a nice and normal name for a girl. Shequita, now there is a name, very powerful.

    Good luck man.

Are you two into more of the "new age" names or do you prefer older names?

    Congratulations!

Get a baby name book and check the meanings
of the names you like, go from there.

Kids give us a valid reason to build forts and such.
My wife is due any time now with number 2
so I have to hold off from tripping and such until she
gives birth and is safe and sound at home. Easy to
    stop for the right reasons.

    Good luck!

    CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I wanted to name our second child Savannah Leigh. He turned out to be a boy, number three was a girl . Named her Sarah.

My favorite girl's name is Epiphany. Beautiful and has deep meaning.

    Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Hippie

Man having a baby is the greatest thing in the world, I have 3 ages 12, 8, & 4. and I miss the infant years. Enjoy every minute you can because time slips by way to fast. Congratulations!!!!!!!!!

Boy = Philip (means strong and lover of horses, and I don't mean in a weird way)

Girl = Cayla or Emily ( Both strong nice easy names)

Congratulations, Hip! I really like my youngest daughters name. I'm not happy with the way it's spelled....the wife chose the spelling. Her name is Raina....I would've chosen Reyna, myself. If she would have been a boy, he would've been Logan. My son's name is Patrick. I always liked the name Eurydice (pronounced Yeridissy)....but that's too difficult and she would have problems all her life with mispronunciations. So girl = Raina or Eurydice. Boy = Logan or Patrick.
