What smells just knock your socks off?

The thread about pipe smoking got me thinking about the sense of smell and how powerful olfactory memories can be. Thought it might be an interesting thread topic to see what smells excite topians. Some of my favorites(as noted in the pipe thread) are: a barn full of curing tobacco, freshly ground coffee beans, orange candy "circus peanuts", a freshly peeled orange and the smell of sanding plexiglass.

fresh fruits, apple blossoms, vanilla, really good soup in the winter, and aveda shampoo. oh yeah and spring time in the woods.

i like the smell of being in the woods... the clean air and all the plants.. smell nice

i also like the smell of baking pumpkin goods.. pumpkin pie and pumpkin bread and such.

otherwise i am not much of one for smells. except cooking food.

Has anyone had a women pass you in the grocery store, You then walk into her past path and catch a whiff. OHHHH man. It doesn't happen often but sometimes that smell can make ya crazy.

Patchouli, Nag Champa, my perfume, and The Soosh. His armpits smell good too. Whats up with that?

On a sidenote for the Ladies.. I have worn the same perfume for years. People know me by my scent, and when they smell it elsewhere, I come to mind. Make your scent your legacy.

I've been doing that for years as well... i like it when my friends call me to say they smelled my perfume and thought i was around.

Another smell-- one of my cats has this wonderful earthy smell that's even better when she's been laying in the sun. I love to put my face in her side and snuggle her up.
