For the doubters, Don't freeze spores!

For those of you that don't know me
I recently moved. Well to keep a long
story interesting, after removing the c
contentents of a second refirigertor my
bride was kind enough to put all of the
contents back in the FRIDGE well the spore
must have looked like they needed to be
colder! So I had 10 syringes put in the freezer.
If you ever had any doubt about freezing
spores allow me to put it to rest. I tried 10
    mycrobags (Fuckin fantastic product!) with
zero result! I tried MAZ, F+, B+, EQ, HAW, I
knew better but fuck it had only been frozen
    two days.
In Short after 15 days with ideal conditions NO GROWTH
not the first thread of mycelium.

I don't expect any responses to this thread.
I have seen several tries to
freeze Ps. Cube spores with no positive result. I just wanted to confirm it.
These bags wii be PC'ed and put back to work, they are just that good,
Thank you Hipp, for a great product!

    not true thread title!

defrosting*** is the thing to watch out for
u cant let them thaw for longer then a second (like when u go look at em dont toy with shit) and dont remove from freezer because the minor thawing then re-freezing is what kills spores. not proper freezing.
but yeah, any organic matter and seeds/spore especially (living things basically) i avoid freezing anyway.... unless u have a cryogenic freezer lol
or u can get a freezer that doesnt cycle thats made for travel/cars. 12/120v. regular kitchen units 'cycle' and that slisght temp change always ills germination rates
the plug in travel fridges from walmart work wll but the 120v adapter packs are junkie if u buy a cheap one and they only last a couple years

u described a thaw-out period. thats yer problem my friend

Mycelium seems to be more resistant to cold and heat than the spores are.

I wonder how this plays a role in the adaption of species to new areas..

If a large enough field of cubes could be started in a northern state, would they start to grow back year after year from the surviving mycelium?
