Indiana Jones and The Crystal Skull

    Anyone seen this?

Watched it last night. And actually was very impressed. Kept me on my feet the whole movie. There wasn't one time I wasn't being entertained and wondering what would happen next.

I read reviews that the plot was lacking but actually, I found it much deeper than the other few Indiana Jones movie. In fact, it goes in to defy our own knowledge of civilization in a sense so to say.

I won't spoil it but definitely worth watching.

This movie is definitely on my must see at the theater list. I will probably catch it in the next week. I never watched the first ones, so will I be lost? Do you recommend renting the first two before seeing it?

I haven't seen it yet either. I will see it today I think. I don't think they would make the movie to where people would be lost if they hadn't seen the first 3. I think there were 3 before this one.......????? You MUST see the other ones though, they are classics, really great movies, and a lot of fun to watch.

    Let down

I watched it a few nights ago on my cpu and I thought that it was ok. I am a huge Indiana Jones fan and this one just didn't do it for me. Seemed to drag on, especially the last 30 minutes or so, and the climax/ending really bothered me. I won't spoil it for you all, but I just don't think Indiana Jones and this ending, which was over 10 years in the making, do the previous 3 justice.
Harrison Ford needs to stop doing action movies. He seems so slow in the fights and very unrealistic. Anyone seen Airforce One- that's one of the worst performances I have ever seen.
I just think that knowing the advertising of this movie and the hype surrounding it, just built it up way too much. I would give it like a 2.5-3 out of 5.

Anyone seen Forgetting Sarah Marshall? Not in the same genre but IMO top three movies of the year, and by far the funniest movie out in a long time. On par with 40 year old virgin, maybe better in parts.

i saw indie a couple of days ago. i had mixed feelings. but i think overall, i enjoyed it.

rocket if you haven't seen the others you won't be lost in so far as the plot.
but you may be lost in so far as the style the movie is made and the character of the film.
if it seems hokey, it's supposed to be.

Wow. I wouldn't believe it if it wasn't for that second sentence where you show that you don't even know how many indy movies are out there, lol.

All three are classics, very well done, and definite must sees. The 2nd and 3rd movies depend less on the first than the 4th does, as it starts in the place where the 1st ends, and has a returning character from the 1st.

So, Rocketman, if you're gonna watch any of the Indy movies before the newest one, make sure its the 1st. But really you should watch all 4 of em.

I think Jr is at the age I was at when the 1st Indy movie came out, I was enthralled! Still am! lol
