![]() | now i see dates and times. i personally liked it more when it said "30 mins" ago or "2days" ago. it was easier to register a time frame. instead of saying, hmmm when was the third. what time is it now? you could scroll by a thread and see that someone had replied to it only minutes before. any reason for the change?

![]() | The reason it listed dates on some and not others was because they were so old. Once I thread hits a certain age it puts the date there. The other only goes so far as to quickly scan when the last post was made. You can fly down through a forum category knowing the last time you visited was a day ago, then anything less than a day on it you know you need to look at. As is you have to know the dates to make that decision. All have their opinions I guess.

![]() | besides, the position of a thread in the list gives you a pretty good idea, as they move to the top of the list when active.

![]() | I like the time/date but what is it? Zulu? Mid-Atlantic time? Central? Is it changable for each user? If so how? "it was easier to register a time frame. instead of saying, hmmm when was the third. what time is it now? " Take your mouse curser and move it over the lower right-hand corner of your screen where the clock is - should show you the date - as all computers have clocks with dates and the only way to see this stuff is through a computer, I don't find it too hassling. Except that it's displaying 15:00 when it's 12:00 here - that shit can get confusing in short spans of time. |

![]() | oh its ok , i guess i just got settled in to the new server and got used to it. i think its just awkward now because im used to seeing certain things. im sure ill learn to love it just as i have the new site. i just loved being able to post something and then a minute later see that someone posted back . or someone posted a reply to that person. seeing POSTED 1 MIN AGO gave me the heads up and made it harder to pass over. as opposed to the newsetup which i may not notice. again , no biggie.

![]() | I much prefer the new time and date format. The other way was easier to figure out but the inaccuracy made it not worth much btw, my mycotopia clock at the bottom of the forum page is an hour behind. i set it in options for gmt with daylight saving time automatically detected. The clock says it is showing gmt+1 but it is still 1 hour behind. |

![]() ![]() | Is there a way to list only say 1-2 day old threads with the xx hours ago feature and the rest with reg date/time stamps? I agree, it was nice to be able to quick scroll and see how recent a response was, but it is also nice to see what it was posted etc... A way for both would rock ... /me wazzles Zen a bit hehehe |
