my super duper make up prize

greetings from never ever been there land.
i recieved a package today, and was very happy to see it. a while ago i won a poetry contest hosted by omni. the original prize was lost via transit. (safe house was in a bad neighborhood at the time, and i believe that it was stolen out of the houses outside mailbox).

anywho,omni scoffed at my requests that it was ok and he didnt need to resend a prize. he made it known to me that as soon as i had a new safe addy that he WAS DEMANDING that he send me a new super dooper makeup prize.

time went on, and finally i found one , and he was quick to send the prize.

this brings us to present day. so i get a package, open it, and realize that its here! well originally i was suposed to recieve the grand prize shot glass. i was bummed when i learned of it being stolen/lost. but man oh man was i happy when i opened the package and saw my new prize.

the butterfly jewelry piece is extravogant, and im going to give it to my girl. ty ty ty
but wait its not over, i also recieved some sort of fruit / vegetable that is dried out, and looks GREAT!!!! it appears to be hand carved and inked. the amount of detail is unreal! there is detail of fur on the animals. etc etc.

ty so much omni.
if possible could you give me a little history of this fruit thing. is it telling a story? did your family or you or a loved one make it?

either way i LOVE it. im am moreeee than happy with it!!!!

I think its just as cool of you to give him a shout out on the replacement and very stand up for omni / fongo to send you another. It just shows the true spirit of this community on both your parts.

it was a brought back from the Andes
during a trip there last year

the filigrana butterfly is from peru as well

no problem sweet. it was such a great prize that i wanted everyone to be able to appreciate it too. i love it

but

it was actually shed who took all the pictures. he put on a very flamboyant pink fluffy scarf thing, put on this french looking hat and kept yelling to me about how i needed to hurry up with his capachino.

lol at least the pics came out great.
