so i was thinking (something i do often, its like tv for me),

about aerobic and anaerobic respiration in humans

so , since aerobic respiration is the most efficient of the two in regards to atp (adenosinetriphosphate)production

maybe in the ballpark of being ten times more efficient, then, maybe the lungs are capable of anaerobic respiration ,

the reason we feel the suffocation , is that , while we are still partaking in respiration, the chemical exchange is way less efficient there by producing less "cellular energy"

thats why plants must supplement their anaerobic respiration with photosynthesis to be able to provide enough atp to sustain life

i forgot how it works but its like the the anaerobic respiration provides the energy for photosynthesis to function, allowing the plant to produce enough energy to continue growing er something like that

well maybe i was thinking, they could do something like making skin cultures or something, and having them gen engineered to work with chloroplasts kinda turning them green , or to even design a shirt, that can be kinda like a huge "leaf" so to speak

providing those whith like half a lung or emphsyma to still have enough energy to live a good life?

    that would bee soooooooo cool
