![]() | Dog Days Sorry i just have to vent-- its like 100 degrees where im at. It has been this way for a while, and wont drop in the near future. My grow room is too hot, my house is too hot, and ive had swamp nuts for a month straight now. on a side note- any good hints for cooling off a grow room (besides airconditioner) bring on fall! ![]()

![]() | dontcha hate it spent my life in hot climates and it sucks. apart from fans and ice if you have uncarpeted floors (a must in hot climes) mop 'em regularly with liberal amounts of cool water. heavy drapes and wet 'em, and stay nekkid apart from a hat full of ice. hope a cool change is comin' your way my friend. |

![]() | I'll second that! I still bless the day some random dude in a University dorm (whose name I'll never remember and whom I'm sure to never meet again) let me in on the secrets of talcum powder. For sweaty feet or a sweaty sack, nothing does the trick like a little bit of Baby Powder. Won't really help with the heat though. I'll join Ras and send you good, chilly vibes for that one. I myself normally have the opposite problem...freezing my fricken balls off up here...so I can't really offer much in the way of refuge from the heat. Hydrate well though, that I will say! I mean, I'm sure you are as it's pretty common sense...but I think like more than half of us don't even come close to drinking enough water daily, even in regular temperatures. Drink some more! Water =

![]() ![]() ![]() | Enjoy it while you can, not many of these left. Gore neglected to tell us that warming periods precede ice ages. Besides, this past winter was so long and dreary, at least for me. I was sick so many times, not to mention two deaths in the family. I live in the PNW too, so its always foggy and cloudy and cool and grey and rainy and damp. And I just wanna get out in the sun and sweat for a bit. Give me some more life and growing of things and flowers and swimming pools and chicks wearing sundresses and short skirts, oh yeah! Mushroom season is just around the corner, harvest parties, halloween, thanksgiving and xmas. But I'm not ready for that just yet, it will come in its due time. Meanwhile I'm headed to the river to jump off some rocks and to the beach for warm sand in my toes.

Were hitting a 10 day stretch at 104* to 106*F, 90's in the nighttime. I know your pain. I use "ice bombs" I use leftover milk jugs, and fill half way with water, and freeze them, keep 4 circulating in freezer, set in front of fan.. they can zap humidity, but if you're were im at, there is no humidity, because the sun eats every living things soul in sight!!!!!... sorry, it's f**king hot. | |
