    Those are excellent.

The blue dragonfly's eyes in that super closeup are amazing.

This here is a Kakutatang (Grass Hopper from thailand in Tak. The hind jumping legs with the spikes on them have at least 5 pounds of thrust. They can pop your closed hand open with very little ease.

I took this shot in 2004 in Taksinmaharat National Forest at 1000 metres.

Image 1: A Katutatang (Thai Grasshopper.

The other photos I took all over Thailand in rice paddies and jungle settings. The dust mite from a carpet at the University was photographed with the electron microscopy at Chula at the Department of Microbiology's Biology Department.

Image 2: Two milipedes screwing on buffalo dung.

Image 3: Two caterpillars who will never mate.

Image 4: Dustmite photographed with the Electron Microscopy.

Image 5: A curling Milipede on a small twig. At the Palace Gardens of the King of Thailand.

Image 6: A cool bluish milipede taking a dump of millipede shit.

Images 7 and 8 are the caterpillar who becomes the butterfly
Image 7: The Beautiful colorful caterpilliar.

Image 8: The butterfly he/she becomes.

I got some cool bug blowups from some other people which are more fantastic. Will post if anyone wants to see some of them.

    They are fantastic images.

Actually that's a moth... and caterpillars don't mate because they are not mature, they are a larvae. They will mate once they become butterflies or moths, assuming they are same species.

Great pics mj, the millipede turd caption got a chuckle out of me.
