![]() ![]() | Watching "MOLD and FUNGUS", Modern Marvels, On History Channel Was just watching this show this evening. Great videos of some nice mushrooms. They have that little modern marvels info bit too now and then b4 commercials and they said that mushrooms are the only non-animal food source that supplies vitamin D! WOOT ![]() Nice commercial ops, grain spawn bags, huge mycelium network bases on compost, and mushroom hunting what I've caught so far. Nice stuff indeed. Great show, tis like 9:30 est now, on for another 30 min... Maybe they will replay later. Enjoy. |

![]() ![]() | Some more cool stuff I just saw included stuff about the "toxic mushrooms" and psilocybin containing fruits. Paul Stamets (sp?) was also talking about a lot of stuff. They mentioned in another blurb that a 20ft tall fossil was found in Saudi Arabia or something of a giant mushroom! That's a big mushroom!!! |

Ooo, I missed that part. I think I have heard about some very large mycelium network, though I didn't catch it on the show. Unfortunately I had to work and missed the show tonight and don't have a recorder. Hopefully I'll be able to find an archived copy somewhere to enjoy. Anyone else catch this episode tonight? | |
