![]() | HOWDY, NEED ADVICE ON THE GREEN have been gone for a while, my dad died and my mother has been in declining health, and been recovering myself from a bad car accident, guy put the rear of my trunk in the back seat. hello hippie 3.By suggestion, i will be starting a new project and, and will be giving a step by step process, but need any help from YOU'ALL on some things, any suggestions would be greatly appreceiated. i do not have a clean room or a flow hood, my glove box does not seem the greatest in the world but can always use the poor boys method of low heat in the oven and air current flow to help on that, but my main problem is dealing with green and other crap after tranfering from bag to tub for larger grow, such as in the pics here of one of my successfull grows, have thought about spraying or misting the surface of my casing dirt with a diluted peroxid and iodine solution to kill any surface endo spores that may get in the tub after transfering. im all ears cause when it comes to the green i've been and cant get past that and this time im going to be as clean as possiabl in my transfering to the grow tub, but please suggest anything to all at topia, and best in all things.isud |

well the peroxide doesnt kill the spores. Spores cant germinate with it around. Live tissue however can survive just fine thats the reason its popular with live cultures. just sterilize all things used tubs, utensils, wear gloves. I love alcohol...>ALL forms but you get my drift. pasteurize your sub well make sure your spawn is 100 percent ready to be used keep it clean, keep it fresh, keep it simple. good luck and its good to see you again. Long time no see for sure.

I do use a dash (maybe a couple table spoons full) in my pasteurization. I feel that it really helps holds the ph to an acceptable level and makes things not so friendly for our friend Trich/.

![]() As for your grows, the oven tek's been debunked. I saw a picture on here where the oven was blowing smoke directly INTO a mason jar! Your glovebox, no matter how cheap, will work. Shit, I started with cardboard. Just work as clean as possible and follow the teks to a T. Good luck. | |

You must wipe everything with iso alcohol and also use Lysol Neutra Air Spray to kill airborne bacterias. Green molds are sticky and can live on spots that were cleansed with cleaners, bleach and Lysol wipes. I have used the Neutra air for a while now and the onetime that i switched to oust, the jars of grains became contaminated. When you open you lid tricoderma can flow right in or they are on the lid or lip sporalating, or even under your fingernails.

thanks for the advice, regretfully my dad passed away a while back and things are really hard when one looses a parent, and my mom has suffered greatly, three nerves power the heart from the brain, two of hers are dead and only one is keeping her going, doctors can do nothing, ( but will be a sad day but faith keeps me strong, then a car accident that almost broke my back and leg, still have a bruise on my left leg and the accident was june 30th last year, but i will push on, as the insurance company is screwing me over, his fault, i had to get another car on my own and three grand wiped out my bank and this is the only opertunity to get things going so i can go on a much needed vacation to clear out some cobwebs from my head and if this attempt fails, i don't have the money for another try, so its all or nothing this time around, will do as advised and try to be as clean as possiable. thanks a bunch and sorry to cry on YOUR shoulder, sure YOU all have problems of YOUR own. again thanks and good to be back home on mycotopia.ISUD thanks hip3, good to be back, when i can get back on my feet a little will send a donation, to help, imo, my family here. )ISUD Quote:
