![]() | Qualitive differences in different species
hi guys nd gals! SWIM was just wondering... the only mushroom he's tried are liberty caps ( and he loves them!) But... how do different species compare qualitively? I know some are stronger and some are weaker but i don't care about potency, you can just eat more to get the same experience! what im wondering about is does the experience differ from strain to strain? also do people enjoy home grown or wild more? because SWIM has never grown before but likes the idea of the connection with his shrooms, even if it is only the sense of achievment! It's like giving birth... but easier and less painfull i imagine!

FC grown tend to be a bit larger then out door grown, due to the ability to monitor humidity and temp. You also don't fight the creepy crawlies for your fruit, thus the ability to take a cleaner print and not haveing to work with agar to get rid of contam. I have heard that some strains are more visual and some more body buzz, but I have yet to try a wide variety to test it for my self. I hope this helps in your quest for knowlage. Plantman |

Thanks plantman! Interesting notion on the visual/body triping thing. a friend has mentioned a mushroom which apparently grows here in ireland which he only knows as ''slimers'' . i have no idea what species they are,and he only knows of them through local knowledge. apparently they are small and dark brown and covered in slime and have a very heavy body trip... not sure i like the sound of it! anyone ever heard of them?
