Why I did all this

I was at the poor old Overgrow years ago and started as a noob visiting to make use of all the invaluable resources and decided to grab a few pages back then..

I did drop in for a browse each year or so but was one of the many quite people enjoying the read and the wealth of information. im shy

only to try a while back to get on only to discover there is no more Overgrow and searched for the replacement site only to find that the scene has shattered and there really isn't anything close to what was.(No offense to those places about)

What I did find was several sites using the information with little respect for the authors so I have collated the ones I found plus what ever else I could find into a single file that provides a full text search and full index as shown above

I hope that this information in the one file is a handy keep sake for yous and I am looking into expanding the e book with more information especially on strains and such (any submissions please get the book and see the submissions page for details)

This is just the First release and I have pushed it out early due to my pre-Christmas rush so sorry for it being a bit rough around the edges.

There will be a prettier version that we are working on now released in the new year including many more Tutorials mainly including a newer strain info area (any seed bank wishing to help will be honored as helping) redone as the overgrow strain base is a bit off a shambles to add to it

Sorry if this is not to some peoples liking but I am not profiting at all from this and am doing it as portable worldwide unstoppable information base

The file downloads and opens fine for me, but when you try and view any specific page it says not available or incorrect address.

It should work for anyone, it's an html archive organized the same way the original file was. Putting it into a PDF would've been alot of work. Just extract this to a directory and open the html page. If I had any webspace to offer I would host the file but alas I don't

anyone know how to download this on a mac? seems you need to instal a plugin to download from that site and its an exe, or maby im just having a brain fart and missing something?

something as useful as this should be put on a host that will keep it there, that file isnt on megaupload.
please re upload it to somewhere else. preferably a permanent non facist host, the other link forces one to register to yet another lame site, (not saying mycotopia is lame) i just refuse to register to YET another site just to get info. If you want shit free and easy make it that way.

however, all the old overgrow people have their own site now......it's like the hive, u can't kill it, they just reform in another place, another name.

Jeetered, you seem a little out of the loop on how megaupload works.

You click the link and type in the 3 letter authorization code where it says "Please enter XYZ". You wait 45 seconds and click the download link, and voila, free download.

You don't have to get a membership, you don't have to log into megaupload, you don't even have to click their sponsor links (although it's helpful if you do).

Cap, thank you for the e-book. It is great. I am sure all of us a topia appreciate the effort that must have gone into this project.

very nice, i did the same thing back then, if it was a good idea i would save the page. for all you that dont know, many moved over to icmag from overgrow and i recommend doing so if you're into growing herb.

I can download from megaupload o.k but when I open the file there are topic files etc but when I open them there is nothing there.
