Nice mini vaporizor

A friend of mine who's worked at one of the largest headshops in my area has been smoking out of one of these things for quite some time. He swears by it, and I was always pissed that I wasn't around enough to master hitting this thing enough to experience the kinda high it was capable of.

Anyhow, here it is all put together:


I had to take this shot in night vision to show off the inside. Its a ceramic disc. You apply light heat with a lighter and after about 10 seconds it gets hot enough to do its work without actually burning your bud.



The best thing about it is you have a bowl that doesn't smell like a bowl, that wont spill like a bowl, wherever you please. It also gives 4 good hits for about half the amount i'd usually load. The ceremic element is supposed to last forever, but the price reflected that at 60 new, minus the 20% the friend hooked up.

Nice I've heard those work well, with some practive I've got a vapolution and love it, especially since it has a car adapter for long trips.

i'll ask the guy that got picked it up for me if he knows the vendor name or can point me in a good direction. i thought it looked cheap when i first saw one, but after a while the wood grows on you and it give it its own taste.

my friend had about a pint jar full of used bud that wasn't burned, but had been threw this vape. he soaked it in everclear for a week and just tried it out last night. I guess it was pretty intense. Said he woke up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and had to crawl his way there. I dont know how much he took or how he took it though.

Check out wikipedias article on "Vaporizer". They got a link on the bottom to just about all available vaporizers. VaporWarez sells the VaporGenie for even less than that last link. As for personal travel vaporizers, I think the ubie is the best, but it breaks so easily (made from like 2 cents of glass), the VaporGenie is prob. 2nd best, and the HugeGrins vaporizer is nice, but since it's made of metal it can get hot and doesn't hold that much. So if you want a nice dependable vaporizer I suggest the VaporGenie.

the ceramic element is very porous. you float your flame as close to above it without touching it and it radiates heat down into your bowl as you pull air threw. It pretty much puts a physical barrier between your flame and your bud and only allows things inside the bowl to reach a certain temp if your careful.
