![]() | Indica Troubleshooting Hey everyone! My FOAF's friend gave him a call the other day. Seems that his friend has started a DWC grow in his basement and they were running into some troubles. My FOAF has absolutely zero knowledge about cannabis cultivation (Only consumption ) but since he's done a bit of hydro work in the past he offered to help. Anyway, here's what my FOAF knows about the grow: The plant is a female indica clone, about 8" tall and 12 days into veg. on 24 light. His friends said the clone was pretty well rooted in rockwool when they got it, but was looking a bit stressed and yellow. PH is between 5.5 and 6 (Stupid chemical test kits) and the water was recently changed. Nutes are FloraNova Grow at 1000ppm (Up from 700PPM) and the yellowing has continued even after the nute boost. It's under 150W of full-spectrum CFL with another 150W on the way. I'm attaching the pics that my FOAF took today when he was at his friends' house, and I'll run any suggestions by the lot of them later this week. Thanks for any help! |

![]() | So you don't think the spotting and yellowing visible in the pics indicates a deficiency? I'm sure the burning in the margins is from the nute boost, I've seen the same in my tomato seedlings, but the other problems are concerning me. I'll have my FOAF's friends do a plain water flush as soon as they can, thanks ![]() |

![]() | If your plant is currently on only 1 CFL you probably have a light deficiency. I had yellowing in plants that didn't go away until I had fewer plants per CFLs. The plants got more light and turned dark green. 2 plants sharing 6 CFL(100W equivalent) bulbs worked OK. |

![]() | yeah i wouldnt think that nute boost would have done a stressing plant any good. do the flush as mentioned and get the nutes at a safe level for about a week, then boost. dont want to stress her more than necessary.

![]() | Hey thanks guys. My FOAF phoned his friends and the plant is started on a fresh water flush. Just to clarify it's not 150W equivalent, it's a full-on 150W daylight CFL. I've grown produce under less, but I'm not sure how bright cannabis needs it. |

![]() | Thanks Dipole, and I appreciate your input as well. My FOAF is having a great time learning about all of this. It's getting to the point that he's considering putting in a plant of his own as soon as this next big incubation run is into fruiting. It really gets under your skin, same as with shrooms ![]() |

![]() | Thanks CM, I wish I could take credit but this is 100% my friends' grow The girl says I'll get my grow room after the ebb & flow strawberry table is ebbing and flowing again. I'm getting a little antsy though, this looks like fun. |
