![]() | Dro nutrients with soil? If a plant in soil was hurting from lack of nutes ( in the flowering stage)
if you were using 6 26x clfs how close should the light be in flowering stage? How do you make your plant form more (THC crystals) during flowering stage? Thanks all iLL |

![]() | I have used hydro nutes in soil, but the manufacturer had directions on use in soil (Fox farm, and Earth juice ferts, great shit might I add!). As far as the cfl's go you should have them as close as they can get in veg, so nothing should change except adding more of them if you chose for the flowering cycle. Potency is a mixture of good growing conditions, smart grower, genetics, experience, and most importantly love (sometimes you gotta show tough love). There are a few things I've heard, but I havent done side by side tests to see for myself. Such as, molasses, extended dark cycle (only for the last day or 2), sticking a nail in the base of the plant (I've heard this one from many mexican immigrants), plus a variety of products that you end up hearingt bad things about. Really dont worry about fucking with any of theabove methods (except molasses, or extended dark cycle you wont fuck up too bad with either), your still learning, get a couple successful grows under your belt, learn the things that only experience can teach, then go nuts. peace

![]() | I left some "Earth juice" nutrients sitting at room temperature for about 6 months once, when I opened them again most of the bottles had green mold growing in them. Earth juice is certified organic so I cant help but to wonder if this wont happen with chemical ferts??? At any rate I would put them in the fridge if I ever decided to fuck around with hydro again. Yep leave it in the rockwool, just plop it in there make sure the rockwool levels out with the hydroton, or dont, all that matters is that the roots have space to grow downward, outward, and get a nice amount of nutrient solution. It's been a while so it's hard to remember the pH on hydro, but if my memory serves me correctly 5.0-6.0. Shit we only ever talk about technical crap, how's your adventures in marijuana farming going? You having fun yet?

![]() | Dude my first love was MJ but i never had the chance or space to try it out. My first run at growing anything was mushies! just because it took up little space and didn't smell (undetected). First run was very seccessful i find it way easier than MJ but i had a few bad trips so i put the mushies on hold for a while. Got a little space now so I AM ALL ON IT. Started with one seed and it happen to be FEMALE ( got lucky). Started it out door and moved in door. Its 1 1/2 week into flowering under 6 cfl and i'm starting to notice that more
have started to occur ANY advice on what to do??????? IS there any need to trim/prune fan leaves/dieing or yellow leaves????? IF SO HOW????? After this baby girl is born, i'm gonna put 4 babies in the oven ready for DWC (1st try) thanks for everything iLL P.s what is the stuff called to raise the PH level and lower it??? Base = ph up? correct? PH down = ph down? correct? |

After I met my friend fungus I wanted to try my luck at growing her. As it turns out I completely suck at mushroom cultivation, I guess my thumbs green not white unfortunately. So now I occasionally grow ala PF-Tek to keep my girlfriend happy, but PF is the only way I keep from fucking up too bad. Back to the technical stuff. You should take a real close look at your plant and your soil, it's VERY common when bringing an outdoor plant indoors that you brought pests with it. If this is the case they can be hard/impossible to see with the naked eye, get a good magnifying glass and look REALLY close at the soil, and the plant. If you see anything, there is still hope. As for trimming off the fan leaves you can, but I dont advise it, the plant stores energy in the leaves, it wants to produce buds durring the flowering cycle. So, often it will start eating the reserves it stored in the leaves to produce the buds, if this is whats happening, you may need to lightly fertilize, but it would also be a sign that you are on the right track and havent been over fertilizing. You want this to occur in the last couple weeks of the plants life to get smooth smoke. Let the leaves fall off on thier own, by then the plant has used them all it can. As for the pH chemicals I dont remember, I was just using Earth juices pH up, and pH down. With earth juice the pH down is worthless since the pH is so low when the ferts are mixed. I believe the pH up contained "Sodium carbonate" (I could be wrong). Good luck with the ganja farm. peace
