Heya ppls,
This is my first go with this strain, Ive never even tried the herb itself before, and I hear Im in for one hell of a ride!! LOL
She's a 14 weeker....She will be done by halloween!! haha..crazzyy long..never grown anything that takes soooo long!
Shes on day 36 of flowering today.....check out the spiral growth of the flowers around the stalks...very cool!!
If you guys are interested Ill show ya pics from the beggining. But Ill jus toss up these recent ones for now. The last 3 pics you can really see the spiral structure well. Enjoy!, Bless, Ras

Columbian Gold brings back memories. The stuff I would buy was at least 1/3 seed by weight and was some harsh shit to inhale too. I am sure your smokes will be much better.

I find it very intrigueing ....some of the herb today.....looks/taste/smell/effects..is soo much crazier than the stuff back then...except when it comes to columbian gold, panama red, maui wowie and purple haze... all my older bros tell me that nothing beats them, still today.. yes i know..i find it hard to believe as well...which is why Ima growin er..we'll see what this fuss is all about from these ol timers eh?? lol..Hippie prolly remembers the C gold, lol

along with a bunch of ya here..Ive seen quite a few columbian gold gros online also and more times than not...they are fat leafed, indica/sativa hybrids that resmble nothing close the real columbian. Thanks to my bro BB at my home for the real deal!! lolK+++ Thanks mate.

The CG that I was told I was buying had so much seed I would separate it out as soon as I got home. I used a 3' piece of cardboard as a ramp. Then I would squeeze the seeds out of the bud and the seeds would roll down the ramp and the goods would stay at the top.

Then I would depress myself by weighing the seed and the goods. Not only was I sold short, but the quantity of seed, damn. Hell it probably wasn't even CG, not that I would have known. Oh well, I was a repeat customer.

The gold I got was very potent compared to anything else i got back in the day. I thought that strain was lost forever. The most beautiful gold buds.

I always was of the opinion that columbian gold was very potent...Been approx 20 years since I had any though. It had a great smooth taste as well.

I think your impression is correct oibchip!! A few of my bros have grown these exact beans... (Pindulinka, chime in bro), Thes cats are old old school bros who dont play around, This is supposed to be one of the most potent, crazy cannabis strains there are , even still today with everything we have!!
(next to Ethiopian Highland plants)>> Which I also have some growing!! hehe, these genetics are stayin in mi arsenal forever!!!

I can almost guarentee....I would never wait 14 weeks for a plant to flower if it wasnt such a strain. Pure haze takes 6-7 months to flower and I wouldnt even gro those..these gotta be special, Im not a patient dude!!!!! Never waited more than like 85 days for any plant. and even that was torture!!! lol

Im right with ya...I really cannot afford to be tying up things for months and taking up room that I really need either...but like i said, if it wasnt columbian gold..I wouldnt be doing it, I dont care what the strain was...well...The columbian and Ethiopian are the only 2 I think I could wait for to take that long...fortunately the Ethiopians only take from 8 to 12 weeks! HAHAHA, But I am going to be keeping both until My body no longer lets me grow my own meds...then Ill have someone else do it...haha...I got a couple students roun this town that can be my caregivers when I cant do it anymore LOLL!!
