![]() | OUTDOOR GROW - HELP ME PLEASE I have a question for you herb growers out there. I am living in the tropics very close the to the equator and would like some advise on the seasonal changes being so close to the equator. The climate change where I reside is very minor. I would like some advice on when is the best time to plant your outdoor crop for maximum yield. To give you a better idea of where I grow. I am in this region on the globe. 18o15’ N and longitude of 77o30’ W. Please see this link for my latest grow on mycotopia. http://forums.mycotopia.net/grassroo...a-tropics.html (New to this .. how am I doing ? (Sativa from the Tropics)) Thanks for your help , peace ID ![]() |

![]() | well if your in the tropics you can plant as long as there is no freezing nights and the light scale is on i think its 14-15 hours light....you can vegg them in that all year till your climate does shift to 13-12 hours light. lets say you have 15 hours of light for 9 months a year and your temps stay around 75+ you could vegg them for 9 MONTHS!!!...they will be monsters by the time you harvest. im not sure but if you get freezes there plant after the last freeze. take care norcal21 |

![]() | it's pretty cllose to 12/12 all year at the Equator so you'll want a nice sativa if you want big plants. indicas will likely begin flowering shorrtly after ending the seedling phase thus remaining small. mixed strains will fall between those extremes.
