wus up im new to the whole green grow but i have been playen with the mush factor and doing great so I thought with your knoledge and my money I might try my luck at some quality buds any tips on some good seed companys that ship discreat

Agreed,Doc has "ALWAYS" done the right thing and then some imo!!

I am going to try soil but after that I am kind of lost I have know idea what type of light to start out with or what type of fertilizer if any I should use any tips would be greatly appreciated

you can pop the seeds right?

from there you can just use CFL's or floro's for vegg then and when your redy to flower them switch to HPS MHis good also but the best i have done and seen is with hps lights.

as for fertilizers try not to go with chemical nutes (miracle gro) to start you can burn them very easy with them....just try your hand at different things and find hat they like you will be able to tell what they like after a bit.

Theres plenty of great info around here and everywhere else, like that seed site I gave has really easy growing instructions on the site and a good forum. Read everyones grow log, like mine Also theres a thousand ways to do everything, read, look at everybody elses to get ideas, then adapt to make something your own. First follow guideline fert amounts and schedules, then learn the nute deficiencies and make things just how you want em.

Heh, I know theres better ones, but mines simple and you might learn from my mistakes at the beginning and get some idea's Check out my grow lights, $40 at jerry's.

Also download the OG FAQ zip, its helped me allot.

Easiest way to germ seeds is get any container with lid and out about half in of water, then up to a table spoon of h202. Put seeds in, keep em in the dark, 70+ degrees, 80 is best imo.

Visit a hydro shop sometime, visit all of em or get the advice from a grower of a good one. When you find one that had GOOD prices and knowledgeable people that you can say "I got some "seeds" and want to know what I need to get a good "crop" " and they'll know what your talking about and help you out. Generally though they want to sell the priciest stuff to you, thats why you gotta go to em all and find the one with cool people that will tell you the truth.

Anyway, the hydro shop I go to has their own "no name" soil mix and it works extremely well, it has many beneficial things for cannabis plants, from what I can see it has perlite, coco, silica rocks, sand, some kind of mulchy soil and the right ph. It was next to ones like FoxFarm, ProMix and stuff, but it was cheaper and they said its specialized for "my needs"

Stay away from peat moss imo, get something with coco.

They also sell a straight coco and perlite mix (Easy to make), which is a true soilless, allot of people seem to do soilless but mix in Wormcasting, so I wouldn't call that soilless... Anyway I would start with soil, you have to water less which means less fert to use so its allot less money, and you can't hurt the plant as bad because the soil absorbs the nutes then slowly releases it to the plant.

For your seedlings get some SuperThrive, I believe its helped mine tremendously the HS where I go its $7 for a small bottle, I use a cap per 2 gals. After a week start giving ORGANIC ferts every 3rd water, and continue to water with superthrive for the middle 2. I water every other day, but your soil will vary!

Read the thread below for organic fertilizer recipe's, make your own, this is definitely the cheapest, and best IMO, way to go, its not that much for a 5lb bucket of guano and it will last along time. SO much cheaper than buying premade organic liquid ferts. And if your really broke the compost in a sock then in warm water for awhile sounds absolutely great, I have already started using it as an additive along with my organic ferts. Its probably enough for seedlings alone in fact, flower you'll need to add ferts.

you can do the entire grow under cheap cfls if u want. but dont expect much. if u got some bucks and are serious about growing get a hps system least 400 watts. can get cheap online. or t5 flouros are pro but for the price get hps. as for soil any type of mis will work. just decide if u want to grow organic or none. lots of soils are organic and really nice. much better if u can find a local grow shop or hydro store.
