    Question Mary Jane storage

Whenever I have any amount of ganja, the first few bowls are always the best, but by the time I get to the end it's always horribly dry and crunchy. Well, I'm about to attain a larger sum than I normally deal with and I'm wondering if there is any way to extend the lifespan of my green.

How do you all normally store your marijuana? I've often been told that putting fruit in a paper bag will help it ripen faster, and I was hoping there was some kind of similar remedy to keep my green fresh longer. Or perhaps keeping it in the refrigerator? Thanks in advance everybody!

Stick it in a nice glass jar,(air tight) and keep it in the dark. The longer its in there the better it is...

Mmmm...aged to perfection, eh? Good advice. I'll make a run to the local thrift store and check their selection on glass jars

Buy a small Lock & Lock container.

    Air tight.

Just do a search for Lock & Lock.

There's a flat 'herb container', holds a half ounce and the top is a perfect sorting tray. It fits in a back pocket or cargo pocket.

Because it's Tupperware, it's airtight and waterproof. I've taken mine up mountains, down ski slopes, all over the country. Try it and you'll see.

    He's right.

You can throw it down a hill or even into a lake. It'll still be great.

I've used a Lock & Lock, with a ziplock for extra measure, to swim out to a special spot on a lake to enjoy a smoke. No problem.

Won't hurt to put the jars and containers in paper bags. I keep my jars in a doubled paper bag rolled up for extra protection.

Could weed be kept for extended periods...say years, and still be a good time when smoked?

I don't see why not, if it's in some airtight glass-
for years, it might need to be vaccuum packed in there.

    "Could?" Yes.
Like any agricultural product, you'd want to store it away from light, heat, and oxygen. Nitrogen-flushed glass jar, or vacuum packed, then frozen well below zero degrees- yeah, you could keep it for years.
