Marijuana laced with lithium sulfate

Hey all,

My friend keeps on insisting to me that this guy she knows, whom is responsible for a lot of the good chronic in my area, laces the weed with lithium sulfate somehow. My question is 2 parts, is this possible, and how could it be done? I searched and searched everywhere for information of this happening and I couldn't find anything. Any help or ideas will be appreciated.

It would be possible to crush lithium sulphate pills, dissolve, then spray on to the weed. I guess.

But why would anyone do it?

maybe he thinks all potheads are bipolar and wants to treat them secretly. i often thought about sneaking lithium into the bottled water of my former roommate who i am as certain as a person can be (who is herself bipolar) while still not having a medical degree that my roomy was and is bipolar. i never did it, but i wanted to after soooo many nights of dealing with her drunken ranting.

anyway. sorry.

i dunno if one can get benefits from smoking lithium anyway.

i think thats rediculous. It costs money to lace weed. does she charge more for it? and, does it taste funny or snap crackle n pop?

That's true, so then the question is, "What compound is created by burning Lithium Sulfate? & Does it enhance the THC high?" Without further study I have no idea, but would most probably believe it is a hoax perpetrated by the sellers to enhance their product. So much these days is name recognition, just look at seed prices. $25 a seed for something you have only read a little blurb about, saw a tiny thumbnail, and for the most part sounds exactly like the last 8 you looked at, 60/40 Indica/Sativa Mix, but has a name like Purple Alaskan Tundra Skunk so you gotta have it. You know?

I've heard of people spraying their shit with Raid, but I think I would
call bullshit on this one. If it has ANY effect, you would notice I think.

It wouldn't be the same high. Anytime you add pills to weed, the high
is different.

Lithium Sulfate does not turn into anything. It would be absorbed with the lithium being of significance, sulfate doesn't do anything. Lithium Chloride used to be available at toy and hobby stores with the Perfect Chemical display. Same thing as far as a source of lithium is concerned. Makes a beautiful crimson red color in a blue flame.

It can be toxic so get the glider instead when you're visiting the hobby shop.

thanks for the good posts. I personally theorize that this girl, my ex, is a crazy bitch that will believe anything. I've even taken a close look at the bud in question with a microscope and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary...

A lithium compound used to be added to 7-up, but like with the coca in coca cola, nothing is the Real Thing anymore.

Hummm, if you actually were to obtain any of the weed in question, taste it. Lithum sprayed on would taste much more bitter than untainted leaf.

Very sorry, Alounacara. my roomate was screwing around on my computer while I was at work. He's not some salesman for their site; he just got very excited when his seeds sprouted. His claims aren't entirely true and I will explain. All 4 are not females, it is way to early to tell. It will be his 1st grow and he thought you could tell after a couple weeks lol.They could be all males for all he or I knows. Also, he never ordered a femenized strain so how does he know that's what you should do? He doesn't. Anyways, shipping was very fast but they didn't have to cross any borders so that should be expected. One should be wary when recieving things cross border. I just a 3 pack of syringes intercepterd and seized at the border from one of our good sponsors. I was wondering what was taking so long until I got a letter in the mail from Health Canada.
And there was some sort of free seed promotion...whether or not it still is going on I have no idea. Anyways, I have made sure he doesn't use my account anymore.

Most lithium salts absorb water out of the air. Lithium laced weed would have a wet, greasy feel to it. Lithium can also be compounded with some organic acids which probably would not produce a nice taste either.

Weed is probably better for one's depression than lithium. So stay happy and roll your doctor a joint and tell him/her to call you in the morning.
