Long time no see!

Should I have waited on the HPS??

I thought the sooner I got em under the better. I got some other stuff in the CFL room now too. Bout 2. 5 weeks behind.

I guess I could put in the MH bulb instead...

why even MH right now? whats wrong with the cfls? I think yer gettin a lil ahead of yerself....lol, Id go with the MH before the HPS, but honestly I think youll benefit much more vegging under the cfls.

I have some G-13 in the CFL chamber right now. and I plan on keeping it there for some time. I think that I was just in a hurry to get something in the beautiful new cab I built! Plus I think that the ladies in the pics are in love with the new light source. You think I should go 18/6? or leave them 24 hrs?

BTW, what you think of the cab?

I got it like a freakin wind tunnel in there. Intake and exhaust and a big ass box fan on low!! lol... It is about 79 deg on the floor of the cab. prolly 80-85 at the top of the leaves. I can go 18/6. Will save me a lil electric too! lol

i'm skeptical of 'better'-
just as good seems more accurate to me.
but the hps won't hurt
as long as he doesn't scorch them
by getting too close.

i ran my veg side 24 hours on for years,
worked great.
btw
cfls last MUCH longer if left on,
avoid on/off cycles with them.

What kind of FAE system are you going to use. I have a chamber that looks nearly exactly like what you've got.

Well,

I have (2) 4 inch inline duct fans. Intake is right on the plants at the bottom and exhaust is up top going out. You can see them in the above pics.

I also have a big ass box fan blowin on em on low. I will prolly purchase a ozone machine for the wall next to the cab.

Any suggestions as to FAE etc are appreciated...

still dont give em anything other than water right now.

also transition to hps can sometimes "bleach" plants. Even on mature ones.. not sure if thats what ya got...but if it is, it goes back to normal after a bit.

if its not on the new grwoth, but on the tips.. then it prolly nutes.

if on the newest growth , prolly due to the hps.
but yeah, jus water still mang.

if you have any kelp.. mix a light bit and foliar feed with it at most.
