I cut the bud to help dry. First J in about 6 months.
It's been 8 weeks since 12/12.

This is the first plant I'm going to pull. Missing the main bud and some side bud.

The seed in the little plant has stripes and is close to being mature.
I will probably wait until it drops then I'll know for sure.

Over 10 weeks since 12/12. I have pulled three out of the original six to smoke them at different stages. The 4th and 5th plant are almost ready. Also, the 2 budzais are still going as well.

I started some WW seeds indoors for a summer grow. I put about 20ish? in aluminum container with
NO DRAINAGE holes. It's the third day and 15 have popped.

I'm saving the clippings for a try at some hashish!
I've read the basics on making hash, any tips for a first time hash attempt?
Can I get decent results soaking the clippings with alcohol in a jar and using coffee filters?
Or am I better off using ice water?
Seems like there are plenty of ways to do it, so I'm a little...

I've been smoking WW hash oil all night.
I put the tray in the oven at low temp to try to evaporate the water,
but after removing the water, I ended up with a tray of oil.
Rubbed some budz through the oil and smoked up. WOW!
The plant material that you would normally discard,
is more potent than the finest bud from the plant.
Can't believe I'm smoking White Widow hash oil.
The internet is a great thing!

The oven temp was at 170 for over 30min.
Will the oil eventually dry so I could scrape it or will it remain oil?

i am not exactly sure(about oil) but i am getting in the habbit of a dry rub, then ice water extraction(wich =alot of dry rub) lol, then i bake it too for the canniniboids(sp) and make what we call swamp water. basicly 100proof vodka with the baked goods. this is sleepy time meds for me, knocks me right out. munchies dont hurt though. good luck. "same 170-200 degs"

What do you mean by dry rub?
I allowed my trimmings to dry and then cured for one month.
Then I mixed in some from this last plant that was just cut.

Even though I didn't get a brownie, it's very effective.
I smoked the weed that was rubbed in the oil.
I also oiled a cigarette.
There is plenty of lube in the container.

I started out by taking the weed and putting inside a jar.

I added water and ice.
Then shake shake shake,
until it looked like a milk shake.
After 10min of shaking,
the ice melted so I added more
and shook 5 more minutes.

I then covered the container with a t-shirt.
That was a mistake.
I corrected by putting t-shirt on the jar.
I lost alot of product and also dropped clippings inside
by putting the t-shirt over the container.

I soaked, shook and rinsed the weed 3 times through the t-shirt
And ended up with this.
I put in refrigerator over night to settle.
In the morning I removed water with a turkey baster.
Then I put the container in the oven
to evaporate the remaining water
so it wouldn't disturb the goodies on the bottom.
The oven didn't work out too well.
I scooped most of the water out with a spoon
and then tilted the container to let all the water out.

The cooking oil was to help with the scraping.
BUT, all it did was add bad oil to the good oil.

The final product was an oily pan!
Not sure if It will dry to scrape.
When I lubed the weed
I scooped up the tiny veg clippings that fell in
and smoked in a bowl!

Hash is worth it.
Save your clippings
I didn't start with much
and have plenty of lube.
Much better high IMO.
but opions are like assholes,
everybody has one.

yeah i guess i missed something or didnt explain it right. dry sieved, its called. dried and cured bud/leaf then frozen for a few and push it around on a silk screen. you get dry trichomes this way but it is alot more work and less product than the icewater way. then i also used icewater after i dry sieved it. those two i mixed together and pressed into hash. after that i dried and warmed (decarbolated?)the leftover buds/leafs because i didnt feel like there was enough product. this is what i mixed with the vodka and strained a week later and it still makes a very potent drink even if it doesnt taste very good, puts me to sleep. so i think there is something to heating your pot to activate some cananiboids. it was my first time trying to make anything from pot besides the swamp water which i have always done with trim and popcorn buds.

2nd, Have you ever tried a quick dry in a small toaster oven at 150-200 degrees? rather than a deathly microwave? lol

if not, you should give it a go... it tastes divine when quick dried that way.

No, I haven't.
But like with everything else,
I'm sure a toaster is much better than a mic.
Don't want to bother cranking the oven for a little bud,
I will consider a small one for my counter,
Since I always smoke the 1st month of my harvests green.

if not, you should give it a go... it tastes divine when quick dried that way.

I'm planning to force flower the plant in the ground (left).
I have Aug. & Sept. for flowering before the cold arrives.
I need to empty a garbage can so I can cover the plant for 12hr.
Good thing I put the rest in pots.
It would have been a pain to force them all to flower.

Okay, I tried to force flower with a garbage can but instead the plant snapped and broke TWICE! New shoots are coming from below. Not sure if I can get some bud before the end of the season. Also, out of 14 potted plants, 1 has shown male. I ran out of first generation seeds, so I mixed in some 2nd generation. Not sure if that's the reason for the male or not but still not a bad percentage for forced feminized seeds. Hopefully the other 13 are females and I was blessed with a male to get some more seeds.

well hopefully you have time. i dont think that plants stay fem, only the seeds that were treated. you will probably have the normal ratio of m/f.

i thought you said that you grew with forced feminized seeds? meaning to me anyway that the seeds were feminized. then about the 2nd generation of the seeds. i meant that if you created a 2nd generation, that they wouldnt be feminized. maybe just a misunderstanding.

i could wish for more stash,lol but it wouldnt do any good. i didnt have anything going besides outdoor this summer. still aways to go for that. lol. i havnt had to go without though, so that is good. i have some tincture made up.

Okay, I did understand you correctly.
I guess I just disagree with you about sex with generations.

This appears to be the ONLY male of the summer grow.
I put the male at a different location in the shade.
I have been bringing a female over to him
and shaking the pollen over the female.

Here are two of the in-ground females.

The plant on the right started about 2-3 weeks later than the one on the left.
The plant on the left broke twice and now has two tall shoots on either side of the main trunk.
I will have to figure a way to protect them from the cold to harvest.
It would be nice to take some cuttings, but I don't think I will bother with that.
There's a 3rd in-ground plant in front of these two but it's only 2 inches tall and has not flowered.

so it's going to be tough going back to the standard 50/50 ratio.
