You got fungus gnats, not hard to get ride off, get bottle of Gnatrol. (lowes)

They wont hurt anything, just get stuck in the resin on the buds. making
them look like a fly trap. and they will keep getting worse if not treated.

They breed in the soil or any thing most, I have used a layer of sand on
top of the soil in the past, has well, they cant breed in it very well. the
sand grains are to shape and kill larva sill in the soil that try to climb up to.

Put a cup of water in there and they will fly in and drown.

    .

Yeah, knock those F*ckers back, once they start breeding they get everywhere. Like MrM says, try to avoid wet soil patches as much as possible they breed in the top layer of dirt.

Here is a pic of the water bowl. Dump it often or
they can use the dead ones to climb on and fly out.

Having a little problem with fungus Gnats?

I have seen a couple of things work well...one in particular...but the tek might seem weird. Go and get yourself a beer. Seriously!!...then drink most of it...leave about 1 inch in the bottom (as difficult as it might be)...then place the partly drank beer in the growing area....go back to this warm half drank beer the next day....now bring to sink and drain it out...notice anything? There should be lot's and lot's of dead F. G...in there. (I know it seems weird using beer)...but I think they are attracted to the grains in there. or the malt..not really sure...but It blew me away how many liked the malt beverage.... The other is real basic...take and coat any surface near your problem spot with cooking oil...doesn't really matter what type...I stayed away from the spray on...but they are easier to clean up...usually put the oil on the underside of grow area....also can use honey...they get into the sweet stuff but don't get out....! If either of these work for you...please post later...and be sure to let me know how these ideas work for you... Peace Johnny Myco

I have tried beer and many other things over the years and for me, Water catches them just as well.

Honey, cooking oil, and all that yeast will be food for bugs that will eat your plant, not just fly around them. imho.

Only one real way to stop them, is to use Gnatrol, plants seem to like it to. Mix some in the water and water the plants well. No more Gnats.

Why all this liquids everywhere? Sticky flytraps are the way to go, they last a LONG time, they are pretty cheap, and you can put them damn near anywhere!
    Gnatrol works wonders too.

gnatrol. Thats it, gnatrol as i recall is a strain of BT (baccilus thuringis israelensis i believe) specifically designed to attack fungus gnats larvae. They are annoying.

Be careful with the gravity, it almost crushed the last batch. But boy, does it ever harden flowers . . .
